Selah - a word that we often see in the book of Psalms. It is a Hebrew word with various meanings, one of which is pause. That is the meaning most appropriate for the Selah Sisters Book Club: we pause from our daily routines to enjoy a book that may encourage, challenge, or simply lighten our day. We pause once a month to meet together to enjoy fellowship and encourage each other in our journey with God on this earth.
If you like to read, or even if you don't, you may enjoy gathering with us for a light meal, devotional, prayer time, and discussion of a book that you may want to read yourself. You don't have to be a member of FBC. We would love to have you join us.
Our next meeting will be Tuesday, June 2 at 6:00 pm in the Student Center. Our June book selection is A Trial of Innocents by Michael Swiger.
And looking ahead, our book for July is The Blindsight of Grace by R.A. Williams.
