Leland Christian Academy Preschool operates under the GS 110-106 church-daycare licensing system. We comply with and meet all state rules, policies, and procedures, as well as all county health/sanitation and fire inspections. You will find our facilities to be neat and clean and the environment to be friendly, loving, and caring.
We open the daycare at 7:00 am each morning and are open until 6:00 pm in the evening. We now offer an approved hot lunch program during the nine-month school year.

REGISTRATION & BOOK/SUPPLY FEES: Non-refundable registration and resource fees are required to complete the enrollment of new students and are due annually for the re-enrollment of returning students.
HOURS: Full time is from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm. Half days are from 7:00 am until 12:00 noon.

- THREE YEAR OLDS The instructional program begins at 8:00 a.m.

HOLIDAYS/CLOSINGS: New Year's Day, Good Friday and Easter Monday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (2 days), Christmas week, and when there is severe weather such as a hurricane.
ABSENCES & VACATIONS: Fees are not adjusted for holidays, (except Christmas week), extended illness, or days lost because of severe weather. One week during the year may be taken for vacation or other personal reasons without charge. To qualify: a student must have been in attendance for no less than nine calendar weeks and must give prior written notice to the school office. VACATION NOTICE FORMS may be obtained from the school office.
LATE PICK-UPS: We close promptly at 6:00 pm. The late pick-up fee is $1.00 per minute past 6:00 pm.
PAYMENT POLICIES
- Tuition is paid weekly and must be paid a week in advance.
- Payment is due by Friday of the preceding week. If tuition is not paid by Tuesday am, a $10 fee will be assessed.
- Payment is to be made by check or cash in the school office.
- Returned Checks: A $20.00 fee will be charged for a returned check.
TUITION DISCOUNTS are only for full time students. It works as follows:
- Oldest Child in the LCA program (includes elementary) Full Price
- 2nd Oldest Child 15% discount
- 3rd Oldest Child 25% discount
*Please Note: Parents of half day children do not have the option of leaving a child for the afternoon without first getting approval from the office. If there is space to accommodate such a request, the charge is $20.00 for the afternoon.
